Ways to dig in at the Well
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38
Set up and take down team and coordinator – We need people to come an hour early and stay about ½ hour after the service to help load up the trailer. We are also looking for a person to coordinate the teams, just reminding them weekly that they are signed up to serve.
Welcome Team – We need people who like people. We need a couple people each week to welcome people as they walk through the door and hand out programs.
Worship Team – Can you sing, play an instrument, click a mouse or adjust the sound? We need you. We need people who are willing to lead us in worship with their musical abilities, as well as people who can help set up/take down and adjust the sound board.
Food Team – We are looking for a group of people willing to put out coffee and snacks before the service in a way that says, “we are glad you are here, please come and eat the food.”
Creative Arts Team – Maybe you don’t play an instrument or can’t hold a tune if your life depended on it, but you would describe yourself as creative. We need a group of people open to finding creative ways to worship God during the service using the arts.
Visual Team – Care about the aesthetic? Then we need you. This team is about creating a presence on stage that reflects beauty and tradition.
